phoenix Zoo TRAIL CARDS
History:
Otto arrived at Phx Zoo in May 2004. He was housed with other females, but had not reproduced.
Leela came from Fresno's Chaffe Zoo in late 2021 and immediately hit it off with Otto.
Otto & Leela successfully hatched 2 chicks in Oct. 2022, and one more in Apr. 2023.
Leela is the 2nd oldest known age female to reproduce.
If Otto reproduces again, he will be the oldest know-age male to reproduce!
