  • Moja larger, long cape

  • Ana huskier build with a lighter face

  • Ana loves children (she was hand reared). She will sit in front of the window and chatter or vocalize.

  • IUCN: Least concern

  • Males have mantle of long hair and pink face and rump

  • Very complex social structure - OMU (one male unit). OMU is made up of 2-23 animals. Two or three OMUs come together for form clans. Two or three clans form a band. Several bands from troops. There can be as many as 200 in a troop sleepting together on a cliffside.

  • Diurnal

  • Opportunistic carnivores

  • Ischial callosities on rump - enables monkeys to sleep sitting on thin branches and hot rocks away from predators.
