Diet: worms, crabs, shrimp, amphipods, polychaete worms, and small fish
Size: up to 3.5 ft in length
Lifespan: 20-25 years
Found in tropical waters around New Guinea and northern and eastern coasts of Australia
Nocturnal species
Strong pectoral and pelvic fins to help "walk" along coral reef systeems or ocean floor in search of prey
Live in shallow waters so they have evolved to survive up to an hour with little or no oxygen
