  • When perched, this bird's unspotted brown upperparts and neat white crescents along the wing distinguish it from the Mourning Dove.

  • They have remarkably colorful face, with bright-orange eyes and blue "eye shadow".

  • Migrate to Arizona from Central America in the summer
