  • Length: up to 32 ft

  • Females tend to grow larger

  • Longest snake, but no heaviest (Heaviest is the Anaconda)

  • Babies hatch ~2 ft long

  • Feeds on mammals and birds (small bats, tree shrews, large deer and pigs)

  • Will hide under water or shrubs and ambush prey
